Hydrogen BECCS Innovation Programme: Phase 1

Environmental Power International (UK R&D) Limited has been awarded funding as part of the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS) Hydrogen BECCS Innovation Programme.

BEIS awarded £5 million of total funding to 22 organisations in Phase 1, with up to £250,000 per project.

EPi’s project, under the Pure Pyrolysis Refined category, aims to deliver a commercially viable hydrogen BECCS technology, with zero emissions and negative carbon performance.
